this is how developer Tapulous (rightly) thinks: we make a great free game, then when we make another game, we can make it have a price and everyone will shell out for it. however, they do have a point. they almost acheive the thing u shoulden't attempt: fix what aint broken. i say almost beacuse i dont like some changes. ill start with the good. u have to go through each difficulty mode before u can go to the next. once uve gotten 85% on half the songs in a difficulty mode, u can challenge the boss song for the level, which has a personalized backround (which are awesome!).beat the boss song, u can play on the next difficulty level. the graphic are also better. but theres also bad. they took away the two best features of tap tap revenge: online play and downloading more songs.also, the difficulty was noticably harder. the way to play that feels natural for me (left thumb takes leftline, right thumb takes the other two) will not work with the harder songs in Dance. despite this, i had a really great time with it, and ill probably go back to it alot.
8.25/10
PROS: same basic gameplay as previous hit Tap Tap Revenge, good graphics
CONS: NO online play, no downloading more songs, harder
